The Talented Mr. Ripley

One of the reasons we started this blog was to create a space where our clients could get to know us better; get to see our inspiration and from where our fashion sense derives.

That being said, we wanted to mention a store favorite movie: The Talented Mr. Ripley. The movie does get a little dark and mysterious, but the music, actors, and scenery are incredible. Italy becomes a character in the movie and you can develop a strong sense of the inherent differences between the North and South.

Check it out when you get a chance - you will not be disappointed. Andrew at the store and Lewis from Bontoni list it as their favorite "fashiony" movie.

After seeing The Talented Mr. Ripley, you will have to check out Ripley's Game, the sequel starring John Malkovich and our very own Luciano Barbera ...

Luciano Barbera Trunk Show - Sept 18th and Sept 19th

Michal Sestak, the son in law of Luciano Barbera and President of US Operations, will be here in the store September 18th and 19th conducting a fall Luciano Barbera men's trunk show. He will have hundreds of new swatches for suits, coats, shirts, and everything else you will need for the upcoming season.

Michal oozes style and sprezzatura, so please stop in to see the new merchandise and hear some amazing stories. Michal's energy is contageous, so please stop in for what always becomes an unforgettable event.

Reminder: This event does coincide with the Bontoni Trunk Show. We felt this was easiest for our clients, especially those that travel.

Third Thursdays!

We are please to announce the beginning of our Third Thursdays series starting next month, Sept 17. Next month, the theme will coincide with the trunk shows starting on September 18th.

Third Thursdays is an event series started by Lawrence Covell as an opportunity to enjoy a few drinks and great stories while getting to know us a little better. We also hope that we will be able to give some info about the industry and continue our clients' sartorial education.
